Combination is a process of empowering items by joining them via the interface button without any extra fees. Combination is required to increase the level of your runes, brooches, jewels from brooches, bracelets and obtaining Forgotten Manuscript - Page 2.

General Info

Combination is available to any characters by clicking a special icon in the inventory .

To increase the level of items, certain rules are applied, depending on the level of the items combined.

Runes

You need 2 runes of the same type and different levels to combine them. For example, Feoh's Rune Lv. 8 + Feoh's Rune Lv. 1 = Feoh's Rune Lv. 9 .
In order to increase the level, you need to have 1 rune of level 1 - you can only place it into the second (right) slot in the combination window, and 1 rune of any level which can be placed into the first (left) slot.
You cannot combine items different by type. (Example: Sigel + Tyrr.)
In case of successful combination you will get a rune of a higher level.
Combination may fail, and the rune placed into the left slot will disappear.
You can't combine Super runes.

Jewels

Combination rewuires 2 jewels of the same type and level. For example, level 1 Garnet Lv. 1 + level 1 Garnet Lv. 1 = level 2 Garnet Lv. 2 .
It’s impossible to combine jewels of different levels and types.
In case of successful compounding you will get a jewel of higher level.
If you compounding is failed one of the jewels will be destroyed, but the other one will remain, and you can use it again.

Brooches

You need 2 brooches of the same type to combine them. For example, Brooch Lv. 1 + Brooch Lv. 1 = Brooch Lv. 2 .
It’s impossible to combine brooches of different levels.
In case of successful compounding you will get a brooch of a higher level.
If you compounding is failed one of the brooches will be destroyed, but the other one will remain, and you can use it again.

Forgotten Manuscript Pages

Combination is required only to get Forgotten Manuscript - Page 2 .

To make it, you'll need Manuscript Fragment - Page 2 and Magical Tablet .
If you succeed, you’ll get Forgotten Manuscript - Page 2 .
If you fail, you’ll get Manuscript Part - Page 2 .

Manuscript Part - Page 2 — 50 pcs. can be exchanged via Lorenzo in the Town of Aden for Forgotten Manuscript - Page 2 .

Bracelets

Bracelets for talismans can also be obtained via combination.

Bracelets level 5 and 6 can only be obtained via combination.
Combination requires 2 bracelets of the same level, for example, Talisman Bracelet Lv. 4 + Talisman Bracelet Lv. 4 = Talisman Bracelet Lv. 5 .
- If you succeed, you’ll increase the level of your bracelet by 1.
- If you fail, one of the bracelets will be destroyed, and the remaining one can be used for further combination.

Combination process

Combination window

In the right part of the Combination window there's a resource window where you can see only those items which can be used as ingredients for Combination.
To start Combination, you need to have the necessary items in your inventory as the items from you Warehouse won't be shown in the resources list.
Place the necessary item from the resources window into the Combination window by double-clicking the item, or by right-clicking it, or by dragging.

No necessary items

As soon as one item is placed, in the resources window you'll see inly those items which can be combine with the selected one. If there are no such items in your inventory, you will see the following message in the resources window: "This item does not exist.".
If two items which can be combined are placed into the Combination window, the "Start" button becomes active.
Press the "Start" button to start Combination.
After you've pressed it for the first time, it'll be replaced with "Continue". The "Continue" button will place into the slot the same items you used before.
The "Close" button will close the Combination interface with no changes.
The "Reset" button removes all the items placed into the Combination window, and the resources window will show again all the items which can be combined.
